[Idea] Allow clicking in input line to change focus

If you have the wrong window focussed (say chat), and want to focus something else (say shell), my instinct is to click the input area after the : or partial line of input (that is, click exactly where I want to type). But this doesn't change focus. You have to click the scrollable part of the window (i.e. *not* where you want to type) to switch focus.
Scratch is currently the only window where you can click where you want to type and have it take you there.

It would be but also very anti-shell-like. Not sure if I prefer the terminal emulator feel or the convenience more.
