"too many lines" message breaks clipboard copy

Message "<too many lines (1000), output was culled>" breaks copy to clipboard. If selection contains any part of this message it won't copy anything and retain previous clipboard contents.
Based on our investigation with dtr it is caused by client interpreting it as start of tag "<too>" which never ends. When dtr closed the tag by editing shell.txt to "<too many lines (1000), output was culled>test</too>" the clipboard copy started working containing "test" instead of the too many lines message.

This could be fixed via the ÈÉ substitution for the real <>, but I think that this should be turned into a `C-too many lines, output was culled-`esque message
